How was it?
I've been asked after each Habitat for Humanity/Global Village trip this question.....How was it? I never have a suitable answer that accurately describes the experience, other than "it was good". You see, I never know if there is truly an interest or the people are just being polite in acknowledging the fact that we were participating the event.
Over the course of the various builds, I have made videos, some are of the actual builds, some are of things we've seen and done during the R&R portion of the trip. I check them out every once in a while to refresh my memory of the past experiences. Some remind me of the new friendships, some remind me of the fun we had, and some remind me of how lucky we are to live in Canada. I'll say no more.
Instead, I've posted some of the videos from our travels for those who are really interested in "How was it"? For those of you who have expressed interest in participating in a Global Village Build, you can get an idea of what you may experience. You can find more on my channel at www.youtube.com/wkriskennedy. "Click" on the Playlist entitled "Central American Travels"
